IMPACT
"Impact Me, Impact Them, Impact the World."
Impact church was once only a thought or dream by a few teens
wishing they had a place they could go to and call their own. A
place to become involved and worship God in a way they could
understand and relate to. What once started as a few ideas grew
into a reality, and thanks to God has become what it is today.
We come together each month for one reason, that is to get to
know Christ more and more as not only our Savior, but as a personal
friend. The main focus each and every week is to simplify the word
of God into one word, Love. This Love is not something we came up
with, but something Jesus himself told the Pharisees long ago.
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?'
Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with your entire mind. This is the first and
greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor
as yourself'" (Matthew 22:34-38)
If Love is what is most important to Christ, it should be what
is most important to us! This is the idea we try to express
throughout the service through songs, skits, video clips, and
preaching the Word of God. The whole point is to create a friendly
atmosphere where anyone can feel welcome and learn who Christ is to
them.
