Luke 19:1-10

Our life will be open to change whenever we choose to be intimate with God, rather than being content with only a glimpse. 3

Repentance no only leads to a change of heart from now on, but also to restitution for wrongs done in the past.

Luke 19:28-48

When Just like the temple in Jesus’ day, the church should be a house of prayer for all. A house filled with people who partner with God in bringing relief to the needy and oppressed. A house where people empathize with the needs of others. A house that is inclusive to those who look different, think different, and act different from us.

Luke 20:1-19

The idea of Jesus being the Cornerstone can teache us two things: a) That He should be the center of our lives. The Cornerstone of our existence. b) When the Cornerstone becomes the center of our existence, we will experience the theme of reversal just like Jesus did.

Luke 20:20-26

Jesus doesn’t teach us to give part of our allegiance to our government and part of our allegiance to God. He actually teaches us to give our entire allegiance to God. And when we give our entire allegiance to God, living a life in the Spirit, we will have discernment. We will know how to behave as citizens of our countries and citizens of the Kingdom of God.

Church Reopening
Our Church Board has voted to open the Corrales Church for IN PERSON services starting September 12 at 11AM. Our Reopening Committee has already met to make sure all the precautions are being taken to make sure our members will be safe. Please get the word out, and make plans to attend. However, if you have any symptoms, please stay home. For more information, please contact our leaders.

Pastor Andre Arrais’ Farewell
For those who still haven’t heard, Pastor Andre has accepted a call to pastor at the New Hope SDA Church in Maryland. He and his family will be leaving us in the first part of October. His last Sabbath with us is likely to be October 3. We will inform you if there are any chances to that. We invite you all to pray for pastor Andre’s transition to his new district but also for the process of selecting a new pastor for our Corrales Church.

Church Building Remodel
Our church voted at our last business meeting to use the Church Improvement Fund and the Church Fellowship Remodel Project fund to start the remodel phases of the Fellowship Hall as proposed while we have money in those accounts. After using the full amount in these accounts, the Business Meeting will meet again and reevaluate how to move forward with the remainder of the project until completion.

Do You Have Any Needs?
