The Greek word for fellowship is “koinonia” (koi-no-NEE-ah). It involves the “active” participation in the Christian community, sharing in spiritual blessings and giving material blessings, Mangum, D. (2021, Feb 8). In sharing a meal, it is the action of strengthening our relationships with one another and with Christ. It is the giving of oneself when preparing food to share with others. “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Therefore, please consider sharing a meal with us in our Sandia View Christian School gym (once a month). Lunch at a member’s home (once a month); however, the member’s home address will not be posted, and will be open to visitors attending the church service that Sabbath day.
